VR Truck Driver Experience
This virtual reality experience module was created for the Regina Work Preparation Centre. The goal of the Truck Driver experience was to give the job seeker an insight in to what the duties of a Truck Driver entailed. There are several interactive tasks that the user must complete to progress through the VR module. These included conducting a circle check, The Career facilitator monitors the job seeker as they go through the VR experience.

Outcomes:
Based upon the actions and reactions of the job seeker in the experience, the facilitator is able to come away with a detailed analysis of their job aptitude. This is then used to help identify if the tested career path is a good fit for the individual. This knowledge allows facilitators to point job seekers toward careers that best suit that individual.
Benefits:
It is often difficult for an individual to choose a career path, especially if they are unfamiliar with the opportunities that exist. This VR experience gave job seekers the chance to perform a number of the duties that would be required as a Truck Driver. It covered full driving with the ability to affect the outcome of some tasks by how they handle each inspection. The client was able to quickly see if the job seeker was a good candidate for this career.
