The client needed to deploy a training system, in the most efficient manner, to several remote communities with locally run waste facilities. Melcher Studios The system needed to be very user friendly, requiring no previous experience with a VR system. The headset was to be shipped to the communities in which training was to take place, requiring very minimal setup. Melcher Studios As well, to make the system easily transportable, it was to be a self-contained VR system that required no additional hardware. Melcher Studios A comprehensive analytical system was also required to track who was taking the VR training and how well they scored, among a host of other requirements. Melcher Studios Since some of the targeted communities were very remote without internet access, the data would need to be saved and then uploaded automatically when the headset had an internet signal. Melcher Studios We modeled the inspection module after the government inspection process to ensure that the employees were using accurate training scenarios. Melcher Studios
We were able to provide SALT with all the required content while staying within the tight conditions. The user friendly system was designed to not only be highly transportable and self contained, but it was also able to handle all the needs that SALT had requested. Over 50 headsets have been shipped to date containing the training software. Melcher Studios
