What you'll experience

  1. Non-Enteral Meal

    The participant assists Frank with his non-enteral meal. The experience begins with reviewing Frank's meal planner to understand his dietary needs, preferences, and any special considerations. Based on this information, the user selects an appropriate meal and gathers the necessary items, including a spoon and a drink. Before feeding begins, the participant chooses a polite, respectful greeting — reinforcing the importance of empathy and communication in supportive care. During the meal, users must feed Frank at a comfortable pace, ensuring he receives enough fluids and avoiding actions that could cause distress or create a choking risk. Once the meal is complete, the participant follows proper procedures to clean and care for Frank.

  2. Enteral Meal

    The participant provides Emily with her enteral meal. After reviewing her meal planner, the narrator guides the user through each step of the process, emphasizing hygiene, equipment preparation, and the importance of setting the correct flow rate. Participants learn how to deliver enteral nutrition safely and attentively, ensuring Emily's comfort throughout the procedure. Once the feeding is complete, the user performs the required cleanup following proper hygiene protocols, successfully concluding the scenario.
